Artistic Statement

Alia Gribbon - "We chose this piece because we performed this song here in MN and in Finland and it's one of our best and favorite pieces." Joe Hodge - "I love to perform so that I can spread culture to others through the music that I love." Andrea Daube - "I chose this piece because it reminds me of our Finland trip and the different and unique culture we experienced there." Brianna Krause - "I love to perform (especially with Sound of Strings) because of the way that I can express myself in a way that only music can provide. Playing with Sound of Strings is especially fun because I'm playing with skilled players, and when the audience claps I feel a sense of completion." Ben Johnson - "I love to perform because it helps me express myself in every way I know."
