Discussing the Future of Minnesota's Iron Range

Speakers will take the stage to pitch their ideas to generate jobs and revitalize communities across the region -- everything from small business support to mountain biking trails, to conversations with young people and mining experts. Hosts Cathy Wurzer and Dan Kraker will then follow with their questions, allowing the audience to weigh in as well.

Climate Change + Health

Come and see Morning EditionĀ® host Cathy Wurzer and expert guests dig into the effects that climate change will have on public health in Minnesota. MPR's Chief Meteorologist Paul Huttner and University of Minnesota's Climatologist Mark Seeley will join Cathy to discuss climate change's impact on the weather. Kristin Raab, the Health Impact Assessment and Climate Change Program Director at the Minnesota Department of Health, will discuss the intersection between real-world extreme weather events and the health of everyday Minnesotans.

American Spiritual Ensemble 2016 Residency

The group will perform a public concert at Concordia College in Moorhead, Minn. on Tuesday, April 5, at 8:00 p.m. The ensemble will then travel to Decorah, Ia., performing at Luther College on Thursday, April 7, at 7:30 p.m. The ASE will play its last concert at Bethel University in Saint Paul on Sunday, April 10, at 4:00 p.m.
