Happy Penguin Film Festival—The Happy Penguins are a group of video and film makers who live in or near Rochester, Minnesota. The purpose of their film and video club is to help each other make movies and show off their creations at an annual film festival.

Intermedia Arts—Intermedia Arts is a multidisciplinary art center that presents a variety of work to further understanding among people through the arts. It focuses primarily on visual arts, theater and film.

Minnesota Film Board—The Minnesota Film and TV Board is a non-profit professional service organization designated by the State of Minnesota to develop the Minnesota film/video production industry as a force for economic and creative growth.

Oak Street Cinema—Oak Street Cinema is owned and operated by Oak Street Arts, a non-profit corporation dedicated to building community and education through the theatrical exhibition of film. This cinema presents an array of special film series, such as "Hal Ashby chronicles the '70s."

Suburban World Theater—A new cabaret venue for acts that have outgrown the Bryant Lake Bowl, plus movies, music, and more.

TC Theatre and Film—TC Theatre and Film is an on-line resource for the Twin Cities. The site has a comprehensive resource directory; newsletter; and on-line classifieds section featuring audition notices, job postings and class offerings.

U Film Society—The U Film Society was founded in 1962 by its present-day Artistic Director, Albert Milgrom, who was a graduate student at the U when he started showing films on a white-painted concrete wall with 8 mm and 16 mm projectors. The U Film Society is an independent non-profit organization dedicated to bringing the best in non-commercial and foreign films to the Twin Cities. The U Film Society has venues in both Minneapolis and St. Paul and shows films 360+ days a year.
