Minnesota State Fair daily attendance, 2011-2013

This chart shows attendance over the 12 days of the Minnesota State Fair, ending on Labor Day. The columns represent the standing record for that day of the fair period, and indicate the year the record was set. For example, the highest recorded attendance for the first Saturday of the State Fair came in 1998. The curved lines represent each of the past three years of attendance during the fair period. Click on the legend to display data for 2011 and 2012.

The 2013 State Fair set new records for the last Sunday of the fair with attendance of 236,197, and Monday Labor Day with attendance of 164,277 people. The previous records for those two days were 229,943 and 160,209, set in 2011 and in 2006, respectively. A total of 1,731,162 people attended the 2013 State Fair, approaching but not surpassing the 1,790,497 people who attended the 2009 State Fair.
