Weathering Minnesota's Christmas snow storm

The National Weather Service has issued a winter storm warning for the entire state. Seems like a good time for a "virtual forum" on a weather event.

We have asked weather watchers from around Minnesota (Rochester, Sartell, Duluth, Cook, the Twin Cities) to come together over their computer terminals to talk about what they are seeing. We also want to get an idea of how to handle a winter event like the one that has been forecast.

Our conversation will be happening as Midday's Gary Eichten talks with meteorologist and climatologist Mark Seeley, starting at 11 a.m. on Thursday. So tune into Midday on MPR then chime in to the discussion on the storm below.

We've got a good group of weather watchers from around the state (Rochester, Sartell, Duluth, Cook, the Twin Cities). We also have folks who can talk about how emergency services handle a winter storm... and how people ought to care for themselves during that storm.
