Today's generation of high school graduates have lived their entire lives with the PC, the Internet and a host of related technology. They could be considered "digital natives" as opposed to the older generations who have had to adapt to the new technology, the "digital immigrants."
Jon Gordon, host of the national program Future Tense, moderated a discussion with high school and college-aged participants to learn more about how technology plays a role in their lives. How does it factor into their social networks, their education, the way they get information about the world? How aware are they of the divide between the digital natives and the older generation of immigrants?
