Though Calvin Trillin is perhaps best known for his writings about food and eating, he has also written much serious journalism, comic verse, and several books of fiction. A staff writer for The New Yorker since 1963, he has also written for The Nation and Time, and is the author of numerous books including Remembering Denny, Messages from My Father, and Tepper Isn't Going Out, about a man who enjoys parking in New York City.
