Entries for the above giveaway can be made by correctly identifying the classical music work with a spring reference in the title during the contest run. Each day (Tuesday May 1, 2007 - Friday, May 18, 2007) a new piece will be played on Minnesota Public Radio's Classical Music service and will appear on the Classical Music playlist that day. A correct answer via the online submission form naming the piece with a spring reference in the title on the calendar day it is played results in one chance to win the Pieces of Spring Giveaway drawing.
Each correct answer is a chance to win, with up to a possible 18 chances. Entries with incomplete or false information will be disqualified. Limit one entry per person, per day. Entries must be received via the online submission form. Multiple daily entries or attempted entries outside the date the piece was played, if discovered, will be disqualified.
Eligibility:
Anyone can enter the giveaway except persons who on or after August 31, 2006, were or are employees of American Public Media Group, Minnesota Public Radio, or its related organizations, their immediate family, or persons living in the same household. The drawing is open to any United States resident age 13 or older. Void where prohibited by law.
Prize:
One (1) prize winner will be selected in a random drawing from all eligible entries. The winner will receive one (1) fresh bloom bouquet (selected by Minnesota Public Radio) delivered each month for an entire year.
Total Prize package retail value: $370.00
Prize is non-transferable and not good for cash or exchangeable for other merchandise. Minnesota Public Radio will process the prize order and winners will receive prizes to their address via the vendor's delivery service. Delivery limited to addresses within the United States. Other delivery restrictions may apply.
Selection and notification of winners:
Every eligible submission will be included in the drawing. Prize Winner will be drawn by Tuesday, May 22, 2007. Winner will be notified by the e-mail address or phone number given in the submission form. If Minnesota Public Radio is unable to reach winners or a winner is unable to accept the prize within 10 days, the unawarded prize will go to the first back-up and subsequent backups thereof until the prizes are awarded. The rules detailing contest eligibility and method of selecting winners are on file at Minnesota Public Radio. The chances of winning are dependent upon the number of eligible entries.
General:
Participants agree to the Official Rules, and that Minnesota Public Radio, American Public Media, American Public Radio Media Group, and related organizations, and their agents and employees will have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind resulting from their use of the prize or their participation in the contest. Participants also agree to grant Minnesota Public Radio and Minnesota Monthly® magazine the right to use their name, image, or other likeness without further compensation for advertising, fundraising or promotional purposes. Taxes and other expenses are the responsibility of the winner.
