What happened to Lauren Rico?

How did you let Lauren Rico get away (she was/is one of your best Classical Music hosts!), and where has she gone?

Curtis
St. Paul, MN

Dear Curtis, while we're very sorry to see Lauren go, we can't think of a happier reason for her departure. Here's an open letter that Lauren wrote to all of her listeners, and it explains the situation better than I ever could.

My dear friends,
It is with joy and excitement that I begin my next great adventure- a move across the country to marry a wonderful man named Tom. This happiness is bittersweet, though, as it means I must leave you after all this time. We may not have ever met, but you have been my companions for more mornings than I can count- listening in those quiet, still hours before the world comes to life. It has been my privilege, my honor and my great great joy to share so much wonderful music with so many wonderful people.

With sincere thanks and my very best wishes always,
Lauren Rico
It was difficult to say goodbye. But we're thrilled for Lauren, and wish her all the best.
