Artistic Statement

In my composition, I used clarinet, horn, and piano because using all of the instruments allowed me to explore using different timbres that the instruments offer. I build my piece from the first theme in the Allegretto sostenuto section which switches between A minor and A major. At the piu mosso, I decided to stick with A Major and continue to build up the theme to the end.
