Artistic Statement

"Vesper" takes its minimalist inspirations from Philip Glass' "Opening to Glassworks". The drifting tempo and open intervals give the piece a somber feel befitting of the name, "Vesper", taken from the Latin word for "dusk" or "evening-star".
