Artistic Statement

I love expressing the subtle harmonies, textures, and colors in this piece. Ravel wrote Ondine based on a poem by Aloysius Bertrand of a water nymph seducing a mortal, and the music I think captures it perfectly. It's very sensuous and fluid.
