GIVEAWAY OFFICIAL RULES

NO CONTRIBUTION IS NECESSARY - MAKING A CONTRIBUTION WILL NOT INCREASE YOUR CHANCES OF WINNING THIS CONTEST

HOW TO ENTER THE ABOVE GIVEAWAY: No contribution necessary. Entries for the above giveaway can be made by correctly answering daily trivia questions throughout January 2006. Each day (January 1, 2006 - January 31, 2006) a new multiple choice trivia question will appear online for the duration of that day. A correct answer to a trivia question on the day it is active results in one chance to win the 250 Years of Mozart Giveaway drawing. Each correct answer is a chance to win, with up to a possible 31 chances. Entries with incomplete or false information will be disqualified. Limit one entry per person, per day. Multiple daily entries or attempted entries outside the question's active date, if discovered, will be disqualified.

ELIGIBILITY: Anyone can enter the giveaways except persons who on or after May 1, 2005 were or are employees of American Public Media Group and its related organizations, including Minnesota Public Radio, their immediate family or persons living in the same household and employees of Vanguard Travel Unlimited, their immediate family or persons living in the same household. The giveaway is open to any United States resident. Void where prohibited by law. Winners must be 18 years of age or older.

Roundtrip airfare between home city (Originating city restricted to Continental U.S., Hawaii and Alaska) and Salzburg, Austria, return from Prague, Czech Republic.

Three nights hotel accommodations at the Dorint Novotel Praha Don Giovanni Hotel in Prague including daily breakfast. A 4-start property, it is located close to the historical center of the "Golden City".
In Mozart's Footsteps - Private Half Day Tour in Prague. Spend 3 to 4 hours exploring the city where Mozart spent many of the happiest times of his life.
Night with Mozart Performance at the Villa Bertramka in Prague. Hear famous arias from the operas Don Giovanni, The Marriage of Figaro, and compositions of the Mozart's Czech contemporaries.
Round trip transfers from the train station to hotel, and hotel to airport in Prague.
Hotel taxes, entrances, and admission fees for inclusions.

NOT INCLUDED: Air taxes, passenger facility charges, airport security fees, visa fees, meals (unless otherwise indicated in the inclusions), items of a personal nature, optional sightseeing, phone calls, travel insurance, excess baggage, tips to driver/guide, or any other items not specifically mentioned as included in the trip inclusions.

TRIP CONDITIONS:

Valid travel dates are February 1 - May 15 and September 15 - December 15, 2006. Travel is not permitted from May 16 through September 14, 2006.
Trip must be completed by December 15, 2006.
Reservations must be made a minimum of 60 days in advance.
Final confirmation is subject to availability of required booking classes.
Trip may not be transferred to a party other than the designated winner.
Trip has no cash value and all inclusions will be forfeited if trip is not taken.
Vanguard Travel Unlimited reserves the right to choose the air carrier that will provide air transportation.
Any changes, modifications, or additions to the stated package along with any additional costs related to changes, modifications, or additions will be the sole responsibility of the winner.
Trip is valued at approximately $5,000.00 total ($2,500.00 per person).

PRIZE awarded once a week. All eligible, correct trivia answers will be included in a bonus random drawing for MPR Blend Coffee Beans from Peace Coffee. 2 winners and 2 back up winner's names will be drawn at random. Winner will be notified by telephone, e-mail, or certified mail. If Minnesota Public Radio is unable to reach the winner or the winner is unable to accept the prize within 10 days, the unawarded prize will go to the first back up and subsequent back-ups thereof until the prize is awarded. The chances of winning are dependent upon the number of entries. Winning coffee beans does not affect eligibility for grand prize random drawing. All rules included in these official rules apply as necessary.

SELECTION AND NOTIFICATION OF WINNERS: For the Mozart Vacation Prize Package for 2, A winner and nine back up names for the prize will be selected by random drawing and announced on Minnesota Public Radio stations. Winner will be drawn by February 3, 2006. MPR Coffee Blend bonus prize winners will be drawn weekly as described. Winner will be notified by telephone, e-mail, or certified mail. If Minnesota Public Radio is unable to reach the winner or the winner is unable to accept the prize within 10 days, the unawarded prize will go to the first back up and subsequent back-ups thereof until the prize is awarded. Mozart Vacation Prize Package winner must provide their social security number. The rules detailing giveaway eligibility and method of selecting winners are on file at Minnesota Public Radio. The chances of winning are dependent upon the number of entries.

GENERAL: By participating in this Giveaway, participants agree that Minnesota Public Radio, American Public Media Group and related organizations, their agents and employees have no liability whatsoever for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind which result from use of the prize, or by participation in the contest. Prizes are non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash. There can be no substitutions for a prize of equal or greater value. Minnesota Public Radio may use winners' names and likenesses for publicity purposes without further compensation. Taxes and expenses as a result of winning this prize are the winner's responsibility. Winners will receive an IRS form 1099 with the above stated value at year-end.

RESTRICTIONS: By participating in the Giveaway, a participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules, and by all decisions of the contest judges. Winner is responsible for any applicable sales taxes, license fees, and any other expenses; such as food, additional tours, additional transportation, additional lodging, tips, replacement of any lost items, travel insurance, other items not specifically mentioned in trip inclusions. etc.
