Minnesota Public Radio’s Spring Member Drive marked our first ever “Pay It Forward” drive. When you make a donation to support MPR, you will have the opportunity to make your support go even further for our community.
Here’s how it works: when you give to MPR, rather than choosing a tote bag or other item as a thank-you gift, you can pay your thank-you gift forward to one of our partner organizations working to help animals, enhance arts & music education, promote literacy and end hunger in your community.
How does MPR choose which organizations to partner with?
MPR chose these five partner organizations for its Spring Member Drive for various reasons. Some of these organizations, like Second Harvest Heartland and Vega Productions, have been involved in ongoing partnerships with MPR for some time. Some organizations were chosen based on their service area – we try, whenever possible, to partner with organizations that serve our listeners outside the Twin Cities metro area, as well as those inside the Metro. Others were chosen based on listener affinity.
If you’d like to recommend an organization you care about, particularly one that serves a large area of Minnesota, please email your recommendation to our Member Services team at firstname.lastname@example.org.
