Where's Eric - August 22, 2008

This year, the Morning Show brought you the 13th edition of our "Where's Eric" Game during our live broadcast from the Minnesota State Fair. To find out all the details, check out The Rules

For the three days leading up to the event, we posted the same clues that our contestants used, plus a photo of each Eric in his hiding place. You can discuss your theories with other listeners on Gather.com and see if you were on the right track.

Last year, listener Michelle Vaillancourt, with some help from her sister-in-law and husband, figured out where all the Erics were hidden and made a live appearance on our show to guide the search team.

The game is played by two teams of three.

The hiding team includes Star-Tribune Commentary Editor Eric Ringham and two tiny duplicates of himself; the eighteen inch tall dolls "Security Eric" and "Farmer Eric".

The seeking team is comprised of two flesh-and-blood individuals; human fairgrounds encyclopedia Ochen Kaylan and musician and fair enthusiast Leslie Ball, along with one eight-inch tall doll of their own, "Fair Fanatic Eric".

Real Eric, Farmer Eric, and Security Eric will hide on the fairgrounds. Starting at 6 a.m. on Friday Aug. 22, Ochen and Leslie will try to decipher a series of clues with the goal of finding all three Erics before our broadcast ends at 9 a.m. If Real Eric is found before the end of the show, he will have a chance to redeem himself and ultimately win the game by following a separate set of clues to find "Fair Fanatic Eric," who has been hidden by Ochen and Leslie.
