Sandra Gilbert: Former Distinguished Professor of English Emerita at the University of California, Davis. She has written several books and is the co-author of "The Madwoman in the Attic," a landmark in feminist literary theory. Her new book is Rereading Women: Thirty Years of Exploring Our Literary Traditions.
