  • Nuclear waste storage in question
    Xcel Energy is requesting state permission to store spent fuel at its Monticello nuclear plant. With the opening of a permanent waste disposal site at Yucca Mountain in Nevada unknown, some are concerned the material will remain in the state forever.9:06 a.m.
