    Joel Brattin: Professor of English at Worcester Polytechnic Instititute. He is past president of the Dickens Society. He has written extensively on Charles Dickens including for a PBS series.
    David Paroissien: Research Fellow at the University of Buckingham and professor emeritus of English at the University of Massachusetts Amherst. He has been the editor of the Dickens Quarterly for over 25 years and is part of the Dickens Journals On Line project.
