Minnesota is on track to tie or surpass the record number of legislative special elections held in a year due to a series of unfortunate events.

An arbitration panel and a lower court had ruled a software developer was entitled to a $5 million prize for discrediting 2020 stolen election claims. Now, an appeals court ruled the arbitrators went too far.
