The 2014 Chinese New Year rings in the Year of the Horse, which begins on Jan. 31.

More than a billion people worldwide will celebrate the holiday.

In St. Paul, Minn., the CAAM Chinese Dance Theater honored the New Year with a performance by 51 young dancers. They are performing "Homecoming: A Chinese New Year's Tale," which has been referred to as the Chinese version of the Nutcracker ballet.
