Three downtown Minneapolis skyway eateries have closed this month, purportedly because of competition from food trucks on the streets below.
"The number of lunches sold on any given day is not going to change whether the food trucks are there or not there," President of the Downtown Food Committee Doug Sams told WCCO. "And when the food trucks are concentrated in this area, the local restaurants find their sales diluted."
Sams and John Levy, president of the Minnesota Food Truck Association, join The Daily Circuit to discuss how they're trying to find a way to coexist downtown.
