Local doctor sees Syria's health crisis firsthand

One of the most-needed professions in Syria right now is also one of the hardest hit.

Local physician Dr. Wael Khouli recently visited his native Syria to help with humanitarian medical relief efforts. He saw firsthand that hospitals and doctors in Syria are being targeted by both sides. Hospitals have been destroyed and doctors and health care workers have been killed.
