Minneapolis police have arrested two juveniles in connection with the shooting that killed 5-year-old Nizzel Anthony George on Tuesday.

Police arrested both on Thursday in Brooklyn Center.

A spokesperson for Minneapolis police said the arrests stemmed from tips offered by the community.

Charges have not yet been filed.

George was on a couch in a north Minneapolis home when a bullet passed through the wall and killed him. A vigil is planned for him on Saturday.

On Friday, Minneapolis Mayor R.T. Rybak released a statement reading, "In the wake of a horrible tragedy, Minneapolis residents should be proud of the fact that our community and Minneapolis Police have worked around the clock to bring justice in this case. I am pleased that there have been arrests made in this tragic case."
