Two Minnesota men now hold the world record for consecutive hours playing a board game.
On Saturday afternoon in New York City, Brett Carow and Sam Hennemann finally quit after playing Strat-O-Matic Baseball for over 61 straight hours. Strat-O-Matic is a baseball simulation game based on statistics from previous seasons.
Carow of Farmington and Hennemann, who lives in Minneapolis, shattered the old record which was just under 54 hours. Sam Hennemann talked with Morning Edition host Cathy Wurzer about the record-setting achievement.
