Northrop Grumman opening Grand Forks office
Grand Forks, N.D. (AP) — Northrop Grumman Corp. says it's opening an office in Grand Forks to provide support for unmanned aircraft.
The Grand Forks Air Force Base is using Northrop's Global Hawk, a high-altitude surveillance drone.
Northrop, based in Los Angeles, says it will present a $50,000 grant on Friday to the University of North Dakota's John D. Odegard School of Aerospace Sciences for its work on unmanned aircraft.
