The Minnesota State Patrol says a state employee faces felony charges of making terroristic threats after threatening to blow up a Capitol complex building.
The State Patrol arrested Peter Michael Dziuk on April 30.
State Patrol Captain John Mock said in an e-mail alert this week that Dziuk threatened to blow up the State Office Building in two separate conversations with other state employees in March and April. The building houses legislative offices across the street from the Capitol.
The State Patrol's Capitol Security Division and the federal Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms investigated and searched Dziuk's residence.
Mock says Capitol Security has increased security measures.
