Aspiring comics got a share of the spotlight this weekend as comedy legends hosted a two-day stand-up "boot camp" in Minneapolis.

The program is called "Conquering the Stage," and Louie Anderson, Pat Proft and other comedy veterans offered instruction, advice and criticism to 53 new and experienced local comedians.

Minnesota native Louie Anderson has a pretty good comedy career going himself, and he stopped by our studio after this morning's session.
