The man who organized 19 trade missions for Minnesota has moved on.
Tony Lorusso worked for the Minnesota Trade Office for a decade, serving as executive director for six years.
A spokeswoman for the Department of Employment and Economic Development said Friday that Lorusso organized 12 trade missions led by governors, four led by lieutenant governors and three other trade missions.
Spokeswoman Kirsten Morell says Lorusso left last month for a corporate position in South Carolina.
The agency looked within to fill the top spot in the trade office. Deputy director Ed Dieter is serving as acting executive director.
