Struggling homeowners who aren't getting any help from their lenders will be the focus of legislation for the upcoming session.

Attorney General Lori Swanson is unveiling a proposal on Wednesday with lawmakers and homeowners.

A Swanson spokesman says the proposal will focus on homeowners who are having problems keeping up with their mortgages and running into bureaucratic inaction when they try to work out payment issues with their lenders.
