St. Paul, Minn. — Governor Pawlenty continues a string of recent travels Thursday with trips to Michigan and Illinois.

The governor said he will attend the Michigan Prayer Breakfast in Lansing this morning. He said the event features a bipartisan group of elected officials from neighboring states.

Pawlenty will then head from the state of Michigan to a fundraiser on Michigan Ave. in Chicago. Pawlenty is holding fundraisers for his federal political action committee at the Hilton Hotel downtown.

The governor, who has not ruled out a run for president in 2012, has made 29 out-of-state trips since he announced in June that he would not seek a third term as governor.

He will make two other trips in December: on Saturday, he embarks on a week-long trade mission to South America; he will speak at a fundraiser in New Hampshire, on December 16th.
