40th anniversary of Woodstock
It was billed as three days of peace, love, and music, but it turned out to be much bigger than anyone expected. Forty years after the great gathering on Max Yasgur's farm, a nation reflects on the music and the meaning of Woodstock.
- Richie Havens: Singer/songwriter. He was the opening performer at the Woodstock Festival.
- Pete Fornatale: Longtime New York disc jockey and author of "Back to the Garden: The Story of Woodstock." He currently hosts "Mixed Bag Radio" on WFUV.
- Maurice Isserman: Professor of history at Hamilton College and the co-author of "America Divided: The Civil War of the 1960s."
