A new book chronicles how people reacted to Abraham Lincoln's death, and the surprising ways his legacy influenced politics and culture in the century after his assassination.
- Philip Kunhardt: Co-author with Peter Kunhardt and Peter W. Kunhardt, Jr. of "Looking for Lincoln: The Making of an American Icon." He is cofounder of the Meserve Kunhardt Foundation, a collection of 19th and 20th century photographs, which has received honors from the National Park Service and the National Trust for Historic Preservation.
