St. Paul, Minn. — Opera great Luciano Pavarotti made a stop in St. Paul in 2001, during his 40th anniversary tour. Pavarotti chose St. Paul as one of just 10 U.S. cities for the tour, in part because it is sister city to his hometown of Modena, Italy.
MPR's Rex Levang spoke with Pavarotti prior to that performance.
