Members of the Minnesota House Taxes Committee are set to take up the tax bill. House Democrats have already passed a $10 billion health and human services spending bill and a nearly $14 billion bill for education.
The House and Senate are expected to meet to discuss spending bills to make Friday's deadline for spending targets. Meanwhile, Gov. Pawlenty is threatening to use his veto power.
