  • Lisa Heinzerling: Professor of Law at the Georgetown University Law Center. She was primary author of the brief for Massachusetts and the other petitioners in this case before the Court. She served as an assistant attorney general in Massachusetts, specializing in environmental law.
  • Tim Profeta: Director Nicholas Institute for Environmental Policy Solutions at Duke University. He was also counsel for the environment to U.S. Sen. Joseph Lieberman.
