Photos: See the 'blood moon' eclipse

April 15, 2014 — Sky gazers the world over are craning their necks in an effort to get a glimpse of the total eclipse of the moon -- the first visible from North America since 2010. This eclipse was a "blood moon," which looks the color of a desert sunset because of filtered light seeping around the Earth and reflecting off the moon's surface.
