Rain turns to snow Tuesday night
We should be prepared for anywhere from 4 inches on the low end in the Twin Cities to as much as 8 or 9 inches on the high end with parts of southeastern Minnesota potentially approaching 6 to 10-plus inches.

A mild Monday ahead; spring storm hitting midweek
A calm Sunday night followed by a mild Monday with high temperatures warming into the 50s, and possibly reaching our first 60-degree day of the year in southwestern Minnesota. We're keeping an eye on a strong spring storm set to hit Tuesday into Wednesday, which could bring some travel disruptions to the area.
Warm Sunday with plenty of sunshine
Above-average temperatures return to the forecast as highs warm into the 40s and 50s for Sunday. A significant spring storm system is starting to develop, bringing rain and potentially plowable snow by Wednesday.
Mild weather returns on Sunday with continued sunshine
Warmer temperatures are expected for Sunday, with highs returning to the mid-40s under sunny skies. However, our focus will shift to a storm system mid-week, which is forecast to impact a large portion of the Central Plains.

Happy first day of meteorological spring! Cold morning temperatures in the teens and single digits will lead to a below-average day, with highs only reaching the low 30s. Saturday will bring sunny skies and lighter north winds, ranging from 5-10 mph.
