Showers building Saturday night; warmer Father's Day ahead
Warm but unsettled weather is in store for Father’s Day, with off-and-on showers likely throughout the day. Rain showers increase Saturday night. The best opportunity for stronger storms arrives Monday as temperatures climb back into the 80s.
Brief break in the rain, more showers expected this weekend
A slow-moving frontal boundary stalled over southern Minnesota has brought impressive rainfall totals across the region, soaking many areas with several inches of rain over the past 24 hours. A short-lived break in the rain is expected Friday afternoon with only isolated and spotty storm chances returning Friday night.
Rains taper off Friday, Saturday's mostly dry; active weather returns next week
Rain will taper off Friday, but we’ll have more pop-up showers and thunder possible later in the day. Saturday will be mostly dry but we head back into an active pattern afterward. 
Smoke then soak: What's ahead in the forecast
Smoke from Canadian wildfires has once again triggered an air quality alert across parts of Minnesota. Our forecast calls for heavy rainfall, potentially washing some of the smoke out of the air.
