Saturday night chill with frost conditions possible
A chilly Saturday night is ahead, with frost possible as skies clear and winds calm. Temperatures are expected to fall into the low to mid-30s. Sunday will bring slightly warmer conditions, with scattered cloud cover throughout the day.
Cloudy and cool start to the weekend with lingering showers to the north
A cloudy and noticeably cooler Saturday is on tap for the region, with a lingering chance of showers mainly across northern areas. Clearing skies and lighter winds Saturday night will allow temperatures to dip, raising the risk of frost.
EF-2 tornado confirmed in Wisconsin
At least one tornado has been confirmed after a powerful line of severe thunderstorms swept through Minnesota and Wisconsin on Thursday, producing multiple tornado reports, widespread damaging winds and large, destructive hail.
Cooler, windy Friday with scattered showers
It’ll be windy and much cooler with scattered bands of occasional rain showers. Below-normal temperatures persist into the weekend, but we should dry out Saturday and Sunday. 
Tornado watch until 8 p.m. includes Twin Cities
A tornado watch has been issued until 8 p.m. in Minnesota, including the Twin Cities and a large swath of the middle of the state and western Wisconsin, as conditions remain favorable for the development of strong storms. These storms could produce damaging winds, large hail, and the potential for an isolated tornado.
One last hot, dry day before a cooler, stormy pattern takes hold
Wednesday will be the last mostly sunny, dry and hot day for a bit. Our chances for rain and thunder increase Wednesday night into Thursday and will be followed by much cooler weather.
