Radio Heartland has a new underwriter. Thanks to the Living Green Expo for supporting us! The Living Green Expo is an annual event that is educational, inspirational and FREE.
Added benfit - It gives you the chance to visit the State Fairgrounds early in the warm weather months to whet your appetite for the days of late August.
And one fun game to play as you walk around the fairgrounds during the Living Green Expo - count the Priuses!
Congradulations on the new sponsor. I might be able to think of some potential sponsors for RH because I am a volunteer in charge of fundraising for the Sustainable Farming Association. None come to mind right away, but I will probably be able to think of some.
Woo hoo! Congrats. Guess I know what we're doing this weekend!
Hi Dale, your promotion folks need to add Radio Heartland to the listing of services, one of the items noted in Friday's blog.
I just looked to see if MPR is an exhibitor at the Green Expo. Yes, but here's the listing:
Minnesota Public Radio
MPR engages the community with three distinct services. Visit mpr.org or listen to MPR News at 91.1, Classical MPR at 99.5, and The Current 89.3.
Where's RH? Wonderground?
Welcome Living Green!
Perhaps some of these folks are familiar with Plant a Row for the Hungry http://www.gardenwriters.org/gwa.php?p=par/index.html and GroGood both of which are encouraging home gardeners to grow extra produce and donate it to their local food shelves.
As the seeds get started it's a great time to think of the hungry in our wider community.
Congratulations, Dale, and welcome Living Green! Thanks for sponsoring this great service.
I'll mark that weekend on my calendar (and will add my Prius to the parking lot count)!
Thanks, Living Green Expo! We listeners appreciate your support.
Yea!
The Expo is a great gathering of people looking toward the future with hope and purpose. It's cool that they are looking at RH the same way.
I'm going...looking for ways to harness the power of a ram that hasn't got the message yet that breeding season was over in November.
Welcome to the new underwriter for Radio Heartland!
