What are you thankful for?

Thanksgiving Day is a time when many Americans take stock of the blessings in their lives. What are you thankful for?

I am thankful for my wife and two kids who are smart and funny and really good people.
I am also thankful I have a job and am able to work with some really interesting folk.
And I am grateful that there are men and women willing to serve in the military and protect this nation and our way of life.
I am thankful for my life. I was robbed at gunpoint last night and now realize how much life is worth. Withhout family and friends, where would I be?
I heard this question this morning about 5:50 AM, I knew right away what I wanted to say.
I am thankful for many things but, one rises above all else: I am thankful for human reason. The ability to think things thru rationally is the greatest gift we have ever received from our ancestors. -Thank you.
This year I am especially thankful that I have FINALLY become a Sustaining Member of Minnesota Public Radio! MPR is with me nearly 24/7 and you folks keep me sane! Lynn in Fargo
I'm grateful for friends, family, faculties of intelligence and internet, Google, MPR, NPR, BBC, PBS, Alex Grey, entheogens especially Salvia divinorum, Stumble Upon, Facebook, OKCupid, silence, nature, my teachers in every form, Russill Paul, Krishna Das, Moody Blues, Jonathan Goldman, Dalai Lama, the Ecology of Souls, the MultiVerse, my health and the health, recovery, revitalization, and connection with my nephew Danny, and brother/sisters/others the circle of humanity.
I'm most thankful for Tom's, my husband's kidney transplant.
Also, thankful for my job and all the wonderful coworkers at my work place.
Thankful for our home and the beautiful surroundings.
Last, but not least, I'm very thankful that we can pay our bills.
I'm thankful that the Marines have a heart. They are allowing my nephew to be temporiarly reassigned so he can be based close to his father (my brother) who is in hospice care and near the end of his life. My nephew is supposed to be in Afghanistan.

I give thanks.

I'm thankful for new insight. There will be 10 (friends and family) gathered around our table tomorrow. As I cook and clean I'm working on just that, and not getting attached to the perfection of the meal. I am feeling liberated and incredibly thankful.

I am thankful for family, friends and co workers. . . material things can disappear.
I'm thankful for my friends, loved ones, and colleagues.
I'm thankful our nation, state, and community hasn't yet fully turned its back on the poorest and most vulnerable among us.
I'm thankful people work together to protect people in poverty and crisis.
I'm thankful for what I have, and what I have to give.
I'm thankful for the things that keep me humble.
I'm thankful I don't have to do it alone.
Mostly, I'm thankful for my tiny baby daughter, and that there's a chance she'll live in a more just and equitable society.
Health, Family, and The U.S.A. is not a socialist state--YET.
I am thankful for the ability to be a participant in the arts community. I am thankful that I am still among the living (after all I have been through). I am thankful for the friends I have made because they are now my family.
I am thankful for a wonderful fiance and her family. I am thankful for my family and friends. And i am thankful for TWO Thanksgiving dinner's this year! Woo hoo!
I am so thankful for the good health of my family and myself, so I can take care of my family. It's so simple, yet so important.
I'm thankful for family and friends. I'm thankful for my job and coworkers. I'm thankful for my health. I'm thankful I live in a community that cares about those less fortunate and are willing to give of their time and resources to help them. And I'm thankful to live in a place that is rich in the arts.
