Bachmann in 'most heated race of my political career'

In a fundraising appeal to her "best supporters," 6th District Minnesota Republican Congresswoman Michele Bachmann says their financial support is "incredibly urgent."

"You see, I am not only fighting back against my opponent, but I am also fighting back against the national Democrat attack machine and liberal "Super PACS" that have targeted my campaign for defeat."

Bachmann's DFL opponent, wealthy hotelier Jim Graves, claims he is gaining ground on the outspoken congresswoman, who ended her GOP presidential campaign in January.

Bachman won her last congressional campaign by more than 12 percentage points.

Like a typical bully, MB is both the attacker and the victim. MB is in one of the Reddest districts in the country. If she is defeated, it is only her own doing. If she actually did her job instead of throwing out fund-raising inflammatory comments that defy logic or credibility, she would be as secure in her reelection as Keith Ellison.

Typical of Bachmann to cry wolf to incite people to send her money. She raises more money than any other incumbant. Last election she had millions left over in unspent funds that she moved to her presidential race. This election once again she cries that liberals are out to get her and people need to send her money. The first page on her website is for a request for money. She claims she's not a typical poltician but she sure acts like one with her SOS for MONEY!!!

Maybe we're witnessing the beginning of the end for this lying, psychotic, pseudo-religious, fascist witch. If Graves can't beat her, let's throw water on her and she if she'll burn!

For Isaac:
I'm always so heartened to be continually reminded of the tolerance of liberals.

It's the liberals who decry hatred, mean-spirited conservatives, bigotry, and intolerance. And then we read posts like yours.

Thank you for revealing yet again the hypocrisy that is the modern day liberal.

And thank you for convincing me to send a contribution to Congresswoman Bachman's campaign.

For Danny: these people are the most misogynistic , I have ever encountered in print. It is pretty clear that the Left wants to destroy or use women for their own purposes. They are a frustrated bunch who can't attack their own strident female politicians or media figures and have to bully someone else... they are foul mouth sociopaths or worse.

MPR's so called news coverage is cut-and-paste political propaganda from the Graves campaign.
One of the first measures from a new Republican Administration will be to cut loose National Palestine Radio. Let them raise their own money without subisidies for their political propaganda from taxpayers.

For Danny and Joan: Michele Bachmann is a national joke for good reason. I'm guessing both of you uninformed, mental midgets missed her entire campaign for the Presidency. Only a fool would donate to her campaign or try to defend this piece of garbage. Danny, you might want to book an appointment at Marcus' Gay Reparative Therapy Clinic. You seem as though you'd be receptive to such "help". I'm sensing a lot of self-hate from you.
Joan, you may want to just go ahead and admit that you're a misogynistic woman who believes all women are second class citizens who need a man to tell you what to think. And you should both own the fact that you have an unhealthy preoccupation with dragging this country back to the 17th Century.

Danny and Joan. It's sad, sad, sad that people like you actually exist. Here's a recommendation. Try to be an independent thinker. If you can manage, you'll see what the rest of us with half a clue have known all along. Michele Bachmann is an idiot. By associating yourselves with her, you pretty much expose yourselves to be of the same ilk.

@Wanda and John, So no one who disagrees with you should 'acutally --EXIST"? Truly profound... (lol) And Wanda, is all this nastiness in print exemplary of insight? I happen to like Ms. Bachmann. I am sorry that you don't think a woman should run for president in the 21st Century. Calling people "idiots" and such is just ridiculous and uncouth. Why don't you try an intellectual argument if you can manage it?

Time for that mentally ill speck of a woman to be booted out of political office!
