Rep. Michele Bachmann railed against government spending Monday at a tax day rally in Columbia, S.C.

"What's your opinion? Should we raise the debt ceiling?" Bachmann asked the crowd of about 300, which answered with a resounding, "No!"

Bachmann said, "We are taxed enough already!"

Bachmann called the tea party the "biggest political movement that is going across the United States today." The Minnesota Republican said the tea party is bigger than a political party.

South Carolina Republican Gov. Nikki Haley also spoke. Bachmann met privately with Haley prior to the rally.

Bachmann told reporters she can't wait to take on Barack Obama, but also said she hasn't decided whether she will run for president.

Oh, please! Give me a break.

This intellectual lightweight will be eaten alive by Obama. She misquotes opponents and tosses around erroneous "facts" as if they were paper airplanes.

There's an old axiom that it takes a lifetime to build a reputation and only a moment to destroy it. In my book, that moment occurred long ago. Time to move on...

If we, the good people of S.C., buy into Bachmann's bogus rhetoric, we get what we deserve. Oh, we already did by electing Haley as governor!
