That didn't take long...

GOP Rep. Michele Bachmann introduced legislation today to repeal the health care overhaul bill that passed last night. President Obama hasn't even signed the bill into law yet.

Here's Bachmann's statement:

"It's no secret, President Obama and Democrat leaders have ignored the will of the people and have chosen to ram through their trillion-dollar health care bill despite the American people's overwhelming objection to it.

"It's future generation, our children and grandchildren who will pay the price for our government's arrogance and recklessness, and the American people won't ever forget the irresponsible actions of this Administration and Democratic Majority. After all, government answers to the people, not the other way around. I'm asking my colleagues to join me in repealing this monstrosity of a bill."

Meanwhile, the Democratic leaning group, Americans United for Change, is running an ad criticizing Bachmann for voting against the bill:

She is an idiot. I would like to see her "debate" Sen. Dave Durenberger. He gives me hope for the country.... Ms Bachmann is an embarrassment, or worse.

PRAISE FOR MS BACHMANN

It is the Dems. who are the embarrASSsment here.

Health-care is not a 'right', it must be paid-for
Having a Job is not a 'right', it must be earned

Living the American Dream IS a 'right' because:
It does NOT have to be earned.
It does NOT have to be paid-for.
Citizens do not want to live with the consequences of keeping-up with the Jones's.

The priorities of this (miss)Administration are out of order. It went so far over the line, that the line is a dot to them.

J is the idiot. Ms. Bachmann rails against the socialist tyranny sweeping the nation. Next after Healthcare is Amnesty for illegal immigrants. I suppose J thinks that's good news. Wake up, man! This is now nearly a dictatorship. Bad as Bush was, Obama's despotism makes W. look like an amateur. Bachmann and TN rep. Marsha Blackburn are 2 women in Congress looking out for American citizens, not illegal aliens or Left-wing kooks.

Calling this weak measure "Socialist Tyranny" and this administration "nearly a dictatorship" indicates that Jeff has no sense of what these things really are, does not really know what's in the bill, and only knows what Rush tells him to think.
