Ok, this is a bit off-topic, but I'm wondering why local TV stations don't use their digital broadcast capabilities to broadcast this stuff live. KSTP rebroadcasts the news on 5-2, while KARE does weather on 11-2. Fox broadcasts in HD on 9-2 and CCO only has one channel (huh?). Seems like a wasted opportunity to show off the new technology, incent people to convert, serve the public good & maybe attract some market share. The only station in this market that's using the technology effectively is PBS, go figure. My TV rarely leaves the 2 and 17 ranges as a result.

Why is Independent candidate Bob Anderson for the 6TH district not invited to the debates? I feel each candidate should be included for a fair debate.

I was just looking at the debates.... I am interested in why....

Oct. 29, 2008
11:00 a.m.,
MPR Midday with Gary Eichten (I-P candidate Bob Anderson has not been invited)

Why is the Independent party candidate of the 6th district not invited????

If you could Please e-mail me back and let me know because I am really wondering why that is?
