Dean Barkley tells MPR that he's thinking about running for his old seat (Barkley served in between Wellstone and Coleman, remember?).

Run Dean Run

It would be a relief to have Dean Barkely run for the U.S. Senate. We need an independent voice that will bring the Senate debate back to real issues. Republican personal attack tactics and Democratic pie in the sky solutions to major issue do not serve the public debate. Barkely would focus the other two candidates which would enlighten the public who could than make a real informed choice in November. And if he does a good job, he could head back to Washington!
