We are making our news service accessible to more people!
Minnesota Public will provide extended news and information service to listeners in the Appleton, Mankato, and Rochester areas. Classical MPR will still be available - it is just moving on the dial - but these frequency switches may soften the reach of our classical service. Appleton, Mankato, and Rochester area listeners grab your calendars and get the information you need:mpr.org/stations:

Our goal is to make the format swaps as smooth as possible. However it is expected that stations will go off the air for a short period of time the night of the swaps. Please be patient and know our engineers will work to quickly to complete the project.
All listeners in the above-listed areas are encouraged to contact us on how the changes affect your ability to listen to Classical MPR and/or MPR News.
