Let The Current take you out to the ballgame! Wednesday, May 25 is The Current Night at The St. Paul Saints, and we want you to come. Join 89.3 The Current and special musical guests The Baseball Project for a night of hot tunes and home runs.
First, meet up with Steve Wynn, Linda Pitmon, Scott McCaughey and Mile Mills (filling in for Pete Buck) of The Baseball Project for a special tailgating party. Meet your favorite people from The Current, listen to good music, enjoy a drink and get ready for the big game. Then, make your way into the open-air Midway Stadium to watch the St. Paul Saints take on the Fort Worth Cats (Tickets $12). The game begins at 7:00pm, but be sure to stop by early and say hi!
The Baseball Project is known for their melodic rock songs with quirky, baseball-themed lyrics. They released their first album, entitled, Volume One: Frozen Ropes and Dying Quails, in 2008, and have shown no signs of stopping since then. Their newest album, Volume Two: High and Inside, is "another winning collection of songs about the game's greats," according to their website. Their music is sure to appeal to both rock n' roll and baseball fans alike. Learn more about the band here.
Join us for good music, good people, good baseball, and a good time!
