Minnesota's primary is next Tuesday, but there's time to get to know the gubernatorial candidates using MPR's Select A Candidate.
It doesn't hurt a bit. You answer a few questions about issues, rank their importance to you personally, and find out which candidates most closely align with your personal perspective. It doesn't tell you who to vote for, but does highlight - or even reveal - things about the candidates you didn't realize:
This survey is not intended to tell you who you should vote for in the 2010 election for governor. Rather, it is an opportunity for you to meet the candidates and get a quick introduction to their political views. On the results page, you'll see links next to each candidate's name. By clicking each, you can listen to the candidate's response on a number of issues, listen to debates, and read stories about each candidate. There is absolutely no scientific value to the cumulative results and MPR does not at all claim they are representative of the electorate.
So take some time with Select A Candidate, and see what, or who, you discover.
