MPR Events: Check your calendar

Cooler temps and shorter days made me realize October is just around the calendar corner. I noticed we have some really interesting MPR Events, especially for those of you in love with words:

* Keillor is back! If you missed the season opener, try A Prairie Home Companion on October 3, 2009 at the Fitzgerald Theater.

* Broadcast Journalism Series: The Science of Spirituality with Barbara Bradley Hagerty, October 6, 2009 at the University of St. Thomas. This is free, but you'll need a ticket. Learn more about the Broadcast Journalist series.

* Talking Volumes with James Ellroy is October 7, 2009 at the Fitzgerald Theater. The author will talk with Kerri Miller about his new book, Blood's A Rover.

* But wait! There's more, book lovers. The Twin Cities Book Festival, October 10, 2009 is hosted at the Minneapolis Community and Technical College. Exhibits, readings, storytelling...and a sale.
